Hello ...
My name is Sharon Ann Wildey, and I’m a Survivor.
At the age of 27, I left a life of abuse with two small children in tow. With the help of grants, education loans and scholarships, I entered Indiana University.
I was fearful that I wasn't smart enough to succeed in college. I knew nothing of life other than ignorance and subjugation. As I learned from women like Betty Friedan and Gloria Steinham, I began to blossom.
Now in my 80s, I reflect on my accomplishments, and, yes, there were failures as well. I successfully practiced law for many years, joined a ministry of conflict mediation and wrote books for parents who were abandoned.
I have saved lives including my own. I am a survivor who lives a perfectly flawed life, joyfully.
